A Bit About Me
Where did the name "Magic" come from?
It’s a long story really, but starts with me once being on a TV show called Kids Say the Funniest Things, where I cut Michael Barrymore in half. Oh, and I also have a habit of inadvertently making things disappear.
Favourite UK Mountain?
Blancathra (via sharp edge). Not because its the tallest or most challenging walk, but because of its beauty, even in the most horrid of conditions it manages to maintain an enchanting quality.
If I’m not on the hill where will you find me?
Probably clad in lycra racking up the miles on my road bike. Having cycled from London to Paris...twice. You could say I quite enjoy the physical challenge of endurance activity. And if I am not on the bike, im most probably half way up an indoor climbing wall, or trying to refine my technique with some bouldering.
Why is photography so important to you?
Some people like to tell a story with photography, but for me the idea of being able to capture a moment in time that I will never happen again is quite special. Whether it is snapping Album Covers for Bands, or capturing sun set over the Scottish mountains, being able to preserve that memory forever what makes me press that shutter release over and over again!
